I managed to make this beauty today:

1. 15ias/15@res

2. 15ias/15@res

3. 7fhr/15@res

4. Cham

Would give me:

31% faster hit recovery

30% increased attack speed

45% to all resistances

Cannot be Frozen

This for my build, is better than any runeword or unique the game has. The best armors available for my melee sorc are treachery, chains of honor or tyreal's might - I have all 3 - but none of them are exactly what I need.

Tyreal's is quite nice if you put a 15ias/15@res jewel in it. This gives 50% ias total if you use Ik gloves and boots with nosferatu's, but it's not enough to reach the final 2 break points (65%).

Chains is nice because it gives more damage and lots of resistances, but it lacks ias and cannot be frozen.

Treachery has mostly the fhr (I'd need to use more charms) and has overkill ias too... so it's a bad fit. It also lacks resists.

So the armor I plan on making is superior to all of them.|||ahh ok that makes sense.|||Quote:

Right now I just use tyreal's, but I'd like to reach the final ias breakpoint and not have to rely on so many charms to reach the fhr breakpoint. If tyreal's gave +1 skills, I'd probably settle for it because that would increase my damage by several thousand, but it doesn't :/

Honestly, blizzard should retroactively give this armor +1 skills. For being so bloody rare, that's the least they could do to it.|||Well, I managed to get this armor:

... but I think I would rather have a fhr armor for more rounded stats and to just have skiller/life charms rather than get the 24% fhr from 2 grand charms. I guess it doesn't really matter, but I guess I would like to see 31/30/45 instead of 7/30/45/94. Meh, I'll probably just use this if nobody has the 24fhr one. They both do essentially the same thing.|||While not the best elite armor, I do have a Jeweler's Dusk Shroud of Stability with 418 ac on it.
